Day 91 - Lottery Dreams, More Floor and Forever Plaid 1992

Day 91 VLOG CLICK HERE!

Had dreams all night about what I would do if I had won the $650 million but I awoke to a world the same way I left it.  Obviously I would quit my day job but starting my own production company would be my first on the list. It makes it easier to cast myself.

Tore up more of the floor and the girls painted the walls. Kitchen wood is next!

Rachel looks badass with her goggles, mask and hooters shirt.

I also watched some Forever Plaid videos on YouTube to get a sense of what Im in for and I can say I am going to have a freaking blast! It looks like so much fun. Every character has a little quirk and I found out mine is a closet homo. Possibly a lisp. Ha!

Until tomorrow!

Day 90 - Colorado Cut, Tile Be Dead and Bucket Efficiency

Day 90 VLOG CLICK HERE!

New haircut today. Stylist, Amber, was lovely. Have to love that Colorado hospitality.

Finished all of the tile except the bathroom. Still need to get in there and.....do stuff.

At first I was breaking tile and filling the bucket as I went. I pop about 9-10 tiles, break them up into smaller pieces and pile them in the bucket. I'd set my tools aside and take the bucket to the dumpster in the driveway. I felt I was losing valuable time switching gears between popping, breaking and dumping. So I changed strategies. I popped everything first. I broke when the pile was complete and then I took consecutive bucket loads to the dumpster, one after the other. It was much more efficient and I felt less tired. Point is that sometimes trying to do too many things to pop ones career can be less than helpful. Maybe I need to focus on one area before moving to another, never having to go back because that task will be completed. Savvy?

Until tomorrow!

Day 89 - Bizarro George, Die Tile Die and Spanish Greetings and Introductions

Day 89 VLOG CLICK HERE!

Dallas Travers made a reference to an episode of Seinfeld where George does the opposite of every instinct he's every had and he finds women, fortune and success. So she suggested if something isn't working, try to opposite. What is the opposite of getting two auditions a month? HA! Kidding. But it could pertain to the attitude you take in the audition room, your preparation, your training diligence or any other aspect that could help or hinder you. If its not working then change it. Take new actions to get new results.

Today I destroyed tile in the living room. Tomorrow, kitchen and bathroom, you're next!

Going back to Spanish Level 1 Unit 2 Lesson 2: Greeting and Introductions. Loving it!

Until tomorrow!

Day 88 - Colorado Renovation, Silence of Thomas Harris and Staples

Day 88 VLOG CLICK HERE!

For the next 6 days I'll be in Littleton, CO helping Rachel and her sister, Amber, renovate their parents house before the summer. The next days will be devoted to getting as much done as possible.  "Going further" for the time being belongs to Rachel and her family.

I'm reading Silence of the Lambs by Thomas Harris on the flight and drive over. It's erie how well Anthony Hopkins brought the character of Hannibal Lecter from the page to the screen. His nuances, speech and mood are all reflected in the novel. Plus I'm learning a few things about character that I didn't catch from the movie such as he has six fingers on his left hand and he is ambidextrous with draws.

I pulled a couple hundred staples today to make way for a new bamboo floor. Still have thousands to do.

Until tomorrow!

Day 87 - The Driving Range, Being Ready and Jennifer Lare

Day 87 VLOG CLICK HERE!

Wesam and I hit the driving range. It was the first time I seriously hit a golf ball. I've swung a club in jest, pretend and even used it as a sword. But I've never hit with the purpose of looking professional. Which leads me to....

The quote is actually "Be ready so you don't have to get ready." If I role comes across that fits my specs and I need to be able to swing a golf club; I'm ready. Shoot a gun, swim a lap, ride a horse, swing a sword, speak spanish; I'm ready. What else do I need to prepare to be ready?

Ran another workshop for Jennifer Lare tonight. Her office, along with Cami Patton and Christal Karge, cast shows like Parenthood, Enlightened and Justified. They are also doing the pilots Hannibal and Mockingbird Lane. Cool, cool projects!

Until tomorrow!

Day 86 - Buffalo Wild Wings, Narration and Boot Camp

Day 86 VLOG CLICK HERE!

Had an audition for Buffalo Wild Wings today with the casting office I booked Burger King. Great people and I thank them for continuing to call me in.

Sometimes nothing else happens in my day and I guess my blog becomes more narration than anything else. Stick with me. The good stuff is coming!

And went to bootcamp tonight because I really am trying to get back into shape or at least better shape. Had 3 salads today too.

Until tomorrow!

Day 85 - Party Creations Round 2, MTLA Meeting and Good Bye Trenton

Day 85 VLOG CLICK HERE!

Same party, different day. Add in a little rain and a hilltop million dollar home and you've got a fun filled hour and a half.

MTLA had a meeting today for potential committee members. I would love to do what I can to help usher in a new era for the company. I'm honored to take on whatever role I can to help. Plus having a lead role or two in the process would be awesome.

And finally our neighbor Trenton Clark is heading off to New York for a new opportunity. We wish him well and hope for the best. He's been a great friend and will continue to be one from 3000 miles away. I now have another reason to visit The Big Apple.

Until tomorrow!

Day 84 - Commode Revenge, Games Guy and Acting Class Hiatus

Day 84 VLOG CLICK HERE!

Commode Revenge. Its exactly what it sounds like. Must have been something I ate. At least I got to read the entire issue of my new Entertainment Weekly. I can check that off the list of things to accomplish this week.

Did a games guy for Party Creations in Anaheim today. More of the learned skill called Patience came into play today. The kids were actually great but I had two hours to fill and not enough water balloons apparently. All in all a great bunch of kids in the middle of a giant RV park. It felt like a small commune or a cult without the negative connotation.

And I sent a letter to the acting teacher I had been seeing, Rana Joy Glickman, saying I needed to postpone any further involvement for the time being. I've just been so busy with these workshops lately and even when I dont have one Party Creations forgets about the class and schedules me. Since it was such a busy weekend I cant just book out last minute as that leaves them without a performer and subsequently they lose the gig. Plus going to Colorado these next few months is eating up class time too. I will have to continue my private study on my own.

Until tomorrow!

Day 83 - Bon Voyage Keeshs, Testing My Patience, Forever Plaid

Day 83 VLOG CLICK HERE!

Sent the Keesh brothers off today. While they are very much like Wesam it's fun to interact with new people.

My patience was tested twice in 15 minutes. Waiting in line at the CVS in Noho with a line of people, one register open and 3 CVS employees visible but only one is accepting customers. A man in his 40's stands behind me and says "Really? They arent going to open anymore registers?" I turn and look at him and just say "No." He laughs and we wait. He then says "I dont want to stand here." And smile and say ask "Are you in a hurry?" He laughs again and responds "I just hate lines." I told him to occupy himself and he said he shouldn't have to do so. He thought the line should just move and he should be next. We then had some banter about rotary phones and waiting. It was interesting.

Back in the car and on my way to Party Creation, Im waiting at a light, 2nd in line, light turns green and the fourth vehicle instantly honks! Seriously? It takes roughly 1-1.5 seconds to register the light is green and to switch your foot from the brake to the gas. This guy in the fourth spot has at least 5 seconds before his car will be able to move forward and apparently he doesn't have 5 seconds to spare. We move forward and he passes the car in front of him racing to the light, keep this in mind it's only a 2 lane road with a lane for turning in the middle. We are now at the next light and he is behind me. Green light. He tries the same thing after about 50 yards with me. He pulls into the turning lane and goes to speed up but I felt the need to turn at the moment and moved in front. Nope I changed my mind. Back in the right lane. I look in the review and he is waving that middle finger likes going out of style. I simply waved my pointer finger back and forth to show his actions were not okay. He then changed lanes again and did indeed pass me, flipping the bird and cursing my name. He then raced to the light and was stopped again by traffic. I ended up right behind him and the entire time that middle finger was wagging in my face.

Never be that person who's destination is always more important. Even if it is.

Found out today I booked Forever Plaid at the Two Rivers Convention Center in Grand Junction in CO. I fly out April 22nd for two weeks. Whoopee!!

Until  tomorrow!

Day 82 - Camera Prep, CBS Audition and Workshop Winning!

Day 82 VLOG CLICK HERE!

Put myself on camera before my audition just see how it was coming off. Made a few adjustments and I was happy with the result.

I auditioned for a very well known CBS procedural show about a group of FBI profilers who track serial killers with criminal minds.

Whats so great about this particular audition is that there was no breakdown for the role. The CD called me in from all the workshops I've been taking with him. So the workshop's are winning for me right now.

Until tomorrow!

Day 81 - Sie Germans, Audition Prep and Friend Fans

Day 81 VLOG CLICK HERE!

Hit Rosetta Stone German today. Its been too long. I've still retained so much. I've finished with an entire unit so its back to Spanish!

Prepped a little for an audition tomorrow. I will all morning and afternoon tomorrow so Ill be ready.

Saw some regulars at CPK tonight whom I havent seen in maybe six months but they did happen to catch my NCIS episode without know ing I was in it! They were happily surprised. Friends who are fans or fans who are friends, either way, its good to have a fan.

Until tomorrow!

Day 80 - Universal Studios, Tax Day and Lauren Bass

Day 80 VLOG CLICK HERE!

Went to Universal Studios today with Rachel, Kanae, Wesam and his brothers. I always have so much fun with the The Waterworld live action performance. Pretty cheesy but still entertaining.

Rachel and I did our taxes!! Enough said.

And ran another workshop with casting director Lauren Bass, always a pleasure, and Wesam was in attendance. Great feedback. She's always detailed with her suggestions.

Until tomorrow

Day 79 - Owain Yeoman, Mime List and Keesh Overload

Day 79 VLOG CLICK HERE!

I saw Owain Yeoman at the Beverly Center. He plays Wayne Rigsby on The Mentalist. Had the chance to say I was a big fan of the show and to keep up the good work. In his British tone. he said "Thanks!"

I started to recreate my mime death list. Every evening  during "Forum" Kristin Towers Rowles, Zack Kaufer and myself would enact deaths via mime. It was so much to see who could come up with the most ridiculous, gruesome deaths.

And Wesam's brothers, Daniel and William, are in town. And in my hair!

Until tomorrow!

Day 78 - Residual Ridiculousness, Draw Something and Casting Director Eric Souliere

Day 78 VLOG CLICK HERE!

I received a letter the other day from SAG residuals department detailing my 2011 report. I was actually paid residuals on DVD sales for Silent Venom. Twas little but it was something.

Found a new favorite IPhone app called DRAW SOMETHING. Its imaginative and addictive and I'm playing 16 games simultaneous.

And ran a workshop for Eric Souliere, casting director of The Mentalist and An American Horror Story. Haven't seen him in two years, he said he remembered me but I think he was just being polite. The LA marathon was today and he had to push him workshop back about 4 hours because he was blocked in. Im thankful he made it though.

Until tomorrow!

Day 77 - Be Careful What You Wish, Stan Zimmerman Day 3 and St Patrick's Day

Day 77 VLOG CLICK HERE!

I mentioned I hadn't been sick in a while and thought it might be nice to lay in bed all day watching movies and being waited on. Now I'm sick! Trying to act like you're not sick in an audition, class or workshop is detrimental. Unless the character is sick I suppose.

Last day of Stan Zimmerman's workshop and my scene went very well. He even made me switch roles to prove I could do both. And I did. "You are a very talented...person." His words. I don't know what the pause was about though. Great class but long!!

Finally, Wesam, Rachel and myself went to Brickyard Pub for St. Patricks Day. Hanging with Joe, Rick and Butler. Hopefully when the bar is sufficient enough we can get back to Junkyard.

Until tomorrow!

Day 76 - Transcription, Forever Plaid and Great Moments in Trying Stuff

I transcribed a scene from The Walking Dead episode 2x11 for my workshop class with Eric Souliere on Sunday. Now I just have to memorize it and do my own take within the given circumstances.

Kristen Towers-Rowles has been pushing me to audition for Forever Plaid and I made my audition tape and emailed it off. I performed Run Freedom Run from Urinetown and a random  monologue about cellphones and Facebook.

And finally my Columbia Sportswear commercial started airing today. Funny stuff. Check it out in the VLOG.

Until tomorrow!

Day 75 - Josh Groban, Preconceived Notions and "Saved by the Titanic"

Day 75 VLOG CLICK HERE!

Met Josh Groban at work today and since I had just done Joseph in concert we had something to talk about. He thanked me for my participation and said they had raised a lot of money for kids in the arts.

One of my tables was this late 50's to early 60's caucasian woman who had giant fake boobs, hollywood glam makeup and hair and a super pink fuzzy jacket that looked like a muppet had been sacrificed. I thought to myself "Oh geez here come crazy." But I couldn't have been more wrong. She was so sweet and humble even when I dropped off the wrong check, paid, and tipped generously. I had to walk back over, not yet realizing my mistake and inquire as to why she left the check 3 dollars short. My mistake. The point is that just because they look "Hollywood" doesnt mean that act Hollywood. Which is also true and, in my opinion, even sadder in reverse, those people that think because they booked a couple of guest stars and their meter jumped 100,000 points that they are the shit.  That's right. They are. Shit. Keep it humble, friends.

Angela Landis, I met during my time at 3 of a Kind theater company. I love that she has kept me on her speed dial and in her email contacts for purposes such as this table read tonight of "Saved by the Titanic." I hadn't had a chance to read it yet and I almost like that better because I too am along for the ride. She had remembered my tenaciousness for the F-word in the last short play I did so she recommended me to play the hot headed bombing dropping director in the piece. I had a blast. The character is full of sarcastic rants and verbal ambushes. My kind of character. Thank you!

Until tomorrow!

Day 74 - Carpe Gym, Zimmerman Homework and Fife Fiesta

Day 74 VLOG CLICK HERE!

My High Intensity Interval Training class was cancelled when I got to the gym this morning so I decided to take it upon myself to use the space. Since the sound system was still open I hooked up my phone with my dance cardio Pandora station playing and proceeded to kick my own ass. I was using the space as if I owned it. Jumping, running and even farting a little. Oops. But I succeeded in getting a great workout on my own. I've always wanted to run one of the courses at the gym but alas I dont have a certification. Just a butt load of energy and the will to kick ass.

Met a friend from Forum for coffee, Kristen Towers-Rowles. She's a super talented, red headed, paled skinned milf who works nonstop and has to 3 cutest kids ever! It was fantastic to see her.

Worked on my scene for Stan Zimmerman on Saturday. He had said he thought I could either role in the scene. He assigned one but I prepared both. Who knows? Maybe Ill do it and then he'll ask me to switch and to his surprise Ill be ready.

Lastly, Rachel, Wesam and myself went to ARI FIFE's house! ARI FIFE! A small MTLA gathering to play board games, drink wine and watch CHICAGO. Great evening among genuine people!

Until tomorrow!

Day 73 - 2 Dollar Day, Checks and Balances and The Messiah

Day 73 VLOG CLICK HERE!

Started with a shift a CPK and it was so slow I walked with 2 dollars. I'm not kidding! 2 dollars! How am I supposed to make rent with that kind of money? I refused to pay out the host and the counter or else I would have had a pocket of change. These are the days when I really hate the service industry.

However, when I got home I had NCIS checks waiting for me so you see everything balances out in the end. I tried to stay positive when I left work thinking "Hey, at least I have the rest of my day free!" So today wasn't completely in the red.

And went to a table read for a potential TV pilot and it's one of those scripts that I actually love because its so much fun and you don't have a clue whats going on really. Nothing is what it seems and twist and turns are around every corner! Could be a lot of fun to see on the small screen.

Until tomorrow!

Day 72 - An Intro, Mental vs Physical Endurance and Round Rock

Day 72 VLOG CLICK HERE!

Made my intro with very quick clips from projects over the past 4 years. My brother, Troy Dixon, did the music. Smartly done!

Did a H.i.i.t class today. High intensity interval training. That class is much mental as it is physical and as I went from circuit to circuit I was less and less inclined to push. I wanted to give up. But I kept thinking what if this were a job or a shoot.  I would have to keep on. If I can't do a few squats and pushups how am I going to maintain a 14 hour shoot schedule in winter on location? So I promised myself not to quit until the instructor said times up. And then I tried to do one more.

Nick Corporon is getting my name out there. A buddy of his hit me up to read a part in his spec pilot tomorrow night. Should be fun.

My friend from college, Aaron Kozak called me today to tell me he would like to cast me as a supporting role in his new play Round Rock. I read several roles and the one I took home was the one I had the most fun. Goes up in June!

Until tomorrow!

Day 71 - Sarah Katzman Workshop, Revisiting the Island and Sunday Nights

Day 71 VLOG CLICK HERE!

Ran Sarah Katzman's workshop again today. CD of Scream, Horrible Bosses, The Change Up and countless others. She's very personable and easy CD to talk to and her feedback is simply. She's a very giving casting director.. I didn't really have a chance to run it since I was also the reader for everyone else. The first time saying it out loud was with her. My read was decent and after the redirect I felt great about it.

Finally got Rachel started on LOST. Its just great story telling, character development and acting over all. Watching it through for the third, I'm really admiring the subtleties of the actors, whether they knew certain character histories or not, and how the these subtleties draw us in so much and we pay attention to them throughout the series.

We have a standing Sunday appointment with our friend Tim Weyers at his place to watch HBO programming plus The Walking Dead. It really isnt just TV, its HBO. Such a great advertising campaign and so true. Its great to get together once a week with friends and just kind of decompress. It used to be a much bigger deal with people cooking, some would do the main course, some drinks, some dessert, but recently it has been a smaller group. It's quieter and less opinionated which usually means the night ends sooner. But its necessary to have these nights so your apartment, your house, your own space isn't the only existence you have. I go out and my friends see me, therefore I am.

Until tomorrow!

Day 70 - Stan Zimmerman Day 2, Emotional Race and Last Call/Empire Reunion

Stan Zimmerman Day 2 – The performed the scenes Stan assigned the previous week and each scene was given to multiple people.  I don’t know if people are so deep in their own heads they are missing the notes that are been handed out in spades. A few seemed to be listening and applying the notes as it progressed but generally I kept hearing the same thing. One girl, probably no more than 15, played on her cell phone the entire time. Either her mother made her attend or she is too cool for school. Or she's just 15. Overall, he really pushes pacing. Don’t draw it out or make it too big and general was another point that kept coming up. Specificity again is the word of the day.
One woman in class stopped in the middle of her scene because apparently the young girl who was the reader reminded her so much of her dear departed daughter. It was a very raw moment watching her genuinely open up in front of everyone about why she broke. Stan simply said if something like that pops up in a scene, use it. You wont have time to stop and explain yourself. Just use it. Face it head on and continue the scene. One of the other students thanked her for her openness saying "it was an honor to watch."
Last Call/Empire reunion! The two casts and crews were brought together. Although it was a small function it was still cool to see what everyone is up to. Nick Corporon, our fearless leader, is working for Pilgrim Films, Robin Hartwig is working for the USA network as a co-editor on In Plain Sight. Ross Le from Empire just joined SAG. Collin Brazie, our DP, is off in London (working I assume). David from Last Call is....well David. Renee Baltsen is pulling her hair out working 68 hour work shifts. And I finally met Clinton Rusich who is the composer for both projects. Miss working with such a fun and talents group of people.

Day 69 - Well Played Rebuff, Script Talk and Friends with Kids

Day 69 VLOG CLICK HERE!

Reshot a couple scenes for Well Played episodes 2 and 3. Just want to make it the best product we can before it is pitched. Also will benefit securing celebrity endorsements and special guest stars.

After shooting we sat around, had lunch and spitballed ideas for scripts and headshots and publicity shots. Specificity!

And we went to see Friends With Kids with our friend Tim Weyers. Kristin Wiig wrote and co-starred and yet stole every husband hating scene she was in. The premise is about two friends who decide to conceive a child and, to avoid the turmoils and hardships of marriage, invest 100% half of the time with their child. It's a great ensemble piece but drags a little at the end to an obvious conclusion. All in all, worth my evening! I really enjoyed it.

Until tomorrow!

Day 68 - HBO Audition, Fencing and The Brickyard Pub

Day 68 VLOG CLICK HERE!

Had a co-star audition from Storm Talent for a new show on HBO. I was the youngest to audition but, remember, they called me in for a reason. I kept the mind set "be yourself and there is no competition."

Took my first fencing class. Instructor was probably half my age but he knows more than I do. But I am a fast learner. Soon the padawan becomes the master. Soon...

The Brickyard Pub, owned by our very own Joseph Rosar and Rick Foster, creators of Junkyard: The Animated series. Its a fantastic space with a giant bottled beer list, pool tables, shuffle board, TV's and a hot wait staff. Something tells me that last one was a business tactic.

Day 67 - Early Morning Edit, CPK Validation and The Dictator

Day 67 VLOG CLICK HERE!

Woke up at 5:30am and could not fall back asleep so I used the alertness to finish yesterdays blog since I passed out and it was still incomplete. Finished around 7am and went back to bed. HA!

Saw a guy at CPK today who I have gotten to know over the last couple years working there. I've waited on him every now and then and we've become friends I feel. He mentioned he's been watching my blog and it surprised me how many people are following what I've been trying to do. He is a man whom I haven't seen in a year maybe yet through the wonders of technology has been able to get to know me better.  It gave me some validation for the arduous task I have assigned myself.

And finally went to a screener of The Dictator at The Lot  on Santa Monica. Stayed for a talk back. And that's all I can legally say until it comes out in May.

Until tomorrow!

Day 66 - Backdrop Arrives, Final Cut Tutorials and Toothpaste

Day 66 VLOG CLICK HERE!

FedEx dropped of my new backdrops for our shooting room. I picked up a black, white and green screen. Let's start getting some use out of them!

Watched a couple a tutorials on green screens. Practice makes perfect.

Try this: take a tube of toothpaste and squeeze out as much as you can. It makes a mess right? Now try to put it back in. That apparently is the internet so only squeeze out what you want made public. Keep it positive, keep it respectable.

Until tomorrow!

Day 65 - Optimism vs Pessimism vs Realism, Casting with Friends and, wait, Casting with Friends 2

Day 65 VLOG CLICK HERE!

Optimism vs Pessimism vs Realism. Where on the dial do I lie sometimes? It seems to vary on any given day with any given situation. Woke up optimistic. Where am I now?

Friend from high school called me about a casting opportunity. He is an assistant casting director and had a project he thought was perfect for me but unfortunately it was non-union. Damn it. Optimism waning.

Aaron Kozak, a friend from college, was doing callbacks for his new play tonight. He called me straight in to read for a few parts. I didn't get the script until the afternoon and had to make some BIG choices fast. Unfortunately, I was corrected at every turn. Try it this way. Okay. Change characters. I did. Wrong. Try it this way! Optimism waning.....

When I got home, Wesam came in and told me about a new acting class he's going to be taking. The coach is Margie Haber and she is offering a master intensive over two weekends but only for actors who have multiple guests and recurring characters. For those who have a limited resume e.i one co-star, there is a beginner class. Plus I cant afford $500 dollars. I barely made rent this month. Optimism waning....waning.....waning......gone. At least for the day. It'll replenish while I sleep.

Until tomorrow!

Day 64 - Stan Meltzer, Trinken and The Grey

Day 64 VLOG CLICK HERE!

Ran Howard Meltzer's workshop today at Actorswest. He had two sessions it was a lot of kids material. He's great with them but he doesn't cast anything suitable for me.

Hit the Rosetta Stone German again today for several lessons. It's working for me.

And finally watched The Grey starring Liam Neeson. Its fantastic except for the end. SPOILER ALERT! They all die. But the ending aside its a great tale of struggle, redemption and forgiveness. The similarities between the pack of wolves and the pack of humans is evident in the writing and story telling. Overall, worth the watch.

Until tomorrow!

Day 63 - Stan Zimmerman, Acting Subtleties and Socializing!

Day 63 VLOG CLICK HERE!

Started Stan Zimmerman's 3 week sitcom intensive today and it runs for 3 weeks. He went over headshots and resumes today and he said what I've known for a year now. I need new headshots that shows more of my personality. They are just boring and very general. Also Kierston Lyons was in the class today whom I waiting on at CPK for a year!

Stan gave everyone the same one liner to perform. Its interesting how 22 different people can interpret 22 different performances for one line. Its was a part of a barista who was simply stating an order. Whether they were confused with the order, content with their job, upset at work or excited to have their first job, each read was different!  But you have to make it unique and memorable. My read involved the character trying to clean up a spill while reading his order. Stan said no one had done it like that before. Truth? I hope so. He does a lot of workshops!

Finally, I went to a party of a friend of Wesam's who recently got married. I was hesitant at first but Im glad I went because I met other actors, SURPRISE SURPRISE! It just means I have more contacts in the acting world. "Random Bear Attack" may become a reality after tonight!

Until tomorrow!

Day 62 - Gym, Workshops and Warrior

Day 62 VLOG CLICK HERE!

Hit the gym for the first time  in 3 weeks. My elbow has healed but still grinds a little and may always do so because of Wipeout. I ran to the gym, a couple of miles, did bootcamp and then swam for 30 minutes. I think I may have pushed myself so much because I have been dead tired all day.

I picked up several more workshops to run, some are repeats of previous casting directors so I have to deliver even more the second time around. Hopefully I can keep the momentum going.

And finally Jonte has never seen Warrior and since I absolutely love everyone's performance in this film I am glad to sit and watch it for a fourth time. I love this film! The and physical and mental tenacity it took for both actors to train to become these phenomenal fighters is mind blowing. Truly an inspiration for real actors.

Until tomorrow!

Day 61 - S.A.G. AFTRA Merger, New Reels and Keep-Tube.com

Day 61 VLOG CLICK HERE!

I received a giant envelope from SAG today and a phone call about the merger. They are really pushing it. I have yet to open it tonight....okay I opened it. It includes the constitution, pension and health plans, points of opposition, F.A.Q.'s, in other words, a lot of material.  I'll dive into that tomorrow.

Put a lot of my footage into a new folder so I can organize them into a new reel that includes NCIS, Well Played and Junkyard.

And I was able to download the videos off of YouTube with the help of Rachel and a wonderful site called Keep-Tube.com.  You can rip them in high quality and its super easy. I highly recommend it.
KEEP TUBE - CHECK IT OU T!

Until tomorrow!
